Elysian Fields Inn is only 16 miles from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and it’s an easy 20 minute drive on I-10 to get here.
Do we need a car in New Orleans?
Not really. Elysian Fields Inn is a short 5 block walk from the French Quarter and it’s only 1 block from Frenchmen Street and all the fabulous restaurants and music venues, like the world famous Blue Nile. If you want to explore beyond the French Quarter and Faubourg Marigny, you can always grab a cab or an Uber.
Are pets allowed?
We will allow dogs on a case-by-case basis. Give us a call at 504-948-9420 and we can talk about it. This is a 9 room Bed & Breakfast so if your pet barks at the sound of a door opening or closing, or footsteps in the hallway, then it’s probably not a good fit. We do have a sweet girl dog named Beck who is very friendly and well-behaved. She loves to make friends with other well-behaved puppies!
Is parking available?
Parking is not a problem at Elysian Fields Inn. We have limited secured, covered parking available in our garage. This is on a first come, first served basis with no in and out privileges. We are one of the few places to offer free covered parking in New Orleans! If you need access to your car while you are here, there is almost always free parking available on the street.
How are the rooms appointed?
Every room has a private bathroom en suite. We triple sheet all of our beds with 700 thread count Egyptian cotton linens. AVEDA bath products provided include shampoo, conditioner, soaps, bath salts and moisturizer. TVs in every room.
